LocalFlow processes audio entirely on your Mac. Speech recognition and text cleanup run locally using on-device models.

We do not record, transmit, store, or collect any audio, transcripts, or text produced by the app. The app itself has no accounts, no analytics, and no telemetry, and collects no personal data.

This statement applies specifically to LocalFlow's local processing. It does not apply to the website or to anything you choose to send us through other channels — see Section B.

When you use this website or contact us, we may process the following personal data:

What we collect

• — Contact form: name, email, optional company name, and message.
• — Marketing consent flag (only if you tick the optional checkbox).
• — Standard server logs from our hosting provider, retained briefly for security and reliability.

Purposes and legal basis (GDPR Art. 6)

• — Responding to your enquiry: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) and, where applicable, steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
• — Marketing emails: only if you explicitly tick the marketing-consent box. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw consent at any time — every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also email us. We do not use support enquiries for marketing unless you've given consent.
• — Security & reliability: legitimate interest.

Processors we use

• — Supabase — hosting and database (EU region preferred).
• — Resend — transactional and marketing email (when enabled).
• — Apple — for purchases made via the Mac App Store.
• — Payment processor — for direct sales [provider — to be added].

Where data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Retention

We keep contact submissions for up to 24 months from the last interaction, unless a longer period is required by law or to handle ongoing matters. Marketing-consent records are kept for as long as the consent is active, and for a reasonable period after withdrawal as proof of compliance.

Your rights under the GDPR

You have the right to:

• — access the personal data we hold about you;
• — request correction of inaccurate data;
• — request erasure ("right to be forgotten");
• — request restriction of processing;
• — receive your data in a portable format;
• — object to processing based on legitimate interest;
• — withdraw consent at any time, without affecting prior lawful processing.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish data protection authority, Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY).

Selling data

We do not sell your personal data.
